border buda is a cultural project focusing on the buda area, an industrial zone spanning machelen, vilvoorde and brussels. the exhibition is the outcome of the first phase of the 3-year project, focusing on artistic interventions in the public domain centered on the transport axes that run through buda, as well as its history and heritage.
nel maertens used the wild plants and flowers in firma’s surroundings as the source of inspiration for a new edition of zaaien en oogsten, a striking, colourful, xl flower carpet made with plain flour and colouring.
the exhibition will run from april 26 april - may 26.
firma vilvoorde will be open from monday - friday, 9am - 5pm,
